President Donald Trump is taking center stage as Republicans gather in Dallas for the party's first-ever national midterm convention.
Trump is scheduled to speak both nights of the two-day event, which features more than 100 speakers, including Republican candidates in competitive races, party leaders and Americans sharing their experiences with administration policies.
The convention is focused on the 2026 midterm elections, with Republicans highlighting issues including affordability, the economy, health care, manufacturing and voter turnout.
