US Vice President JD Vance describes Michigan Democrat Abdul El-Sayed as a “little weasel who should shut his mouth and show a little gratitude”.
“I don’t understand how this man can have so much hatred in his heart for the people and places that gave him so much opportunity," Mr Vance said.
“I don't know why he resents the things that he does; perhaps it’s because he sees them as too white or too proud or too American.
“You deserve better than a little weasel who should shut his mouth and show a little gratitude to the country that gave him everything."
